The Director, Business Applications Admin reports to the Senior Director of CX Digital Business Architecture in the newly created Customer Experience Organization at Cisco. S/He will be responsible for establishing a team of business administrators/ developers for low-code platforms that allow for acceleration of the CX Digital Strategy from vision to value. To carry this responsibility requires a seasoned mix business acumen, deep technical chops, and an entrepreneur s spirit. Who You ll Work With Work with the VP of Digital Transformation, Digital Business Architect Leaders (peers), Data & IT team to drive CX end to end business architecture enabled by robust and scalable digital architecture. Who You Are This is a leadership position within the Cisco Customer Experience organization with a regular exposure to business and IT Leadership Teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep domain business expertise on Customer Experience and related processes and technical expertise with modern technologies including, but not limited to the Salesforce platforms, Einstein Analytics, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), API Management, Content management, Marketing Technology, Digital Security and cloud-based application design patterns. In addition to the business and technical capabilities, the candidate should have a proven track record of working as a trusted advisor to senior executives in implementing digital technologies and creating roadmaps. The person will also be a liaison in evaluating new technologies using industry benchmarks. A proven track record of working with cross functional teams across business stakeholders and IT along with a program management experience is essential for the success of this role. Prior experience as a product owner will be preferred. The candidate should be extremely comfortable in agile environments where senior leaders engage in detailed problem solving regularly. This role will have a management responsibility for digital business administrators and will work closely with many product tracks across a matrix organization structure. Self-starter and chief do er; ability to define and hold the big picture while executing on a piece of it. Intermediate level understanding of digital trends and impact to various industries. Demonstrated leadership experience across digital technology management, innovation or experience design. Prior role as an executive with excellent verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, with a track record of decisive decision making. Proven ability to generate trust and build alliances. Empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn. Consistent record of delivering business value Passion for customer experience, business, market trends, and technology. Provides direction for technical resources. Provides leadership and management through coaching, empowering and facilitating teamwork for all staff, including the administration of personnel actions and reviews. Qualifications: 15+ years directly related experience Understands and can educate others on high level business models and processes around Customer Success Management Salesforce product knowledge (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) is a must Must have managed direct reports Has performed as a product owner/lead. In doing so, the candidate has led a team of digital architects as part of a large program and provided guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure that the business outcomes of the program was met Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources. Speaks with authority and writes with clarity.
